For graphic and web design work, I try to take time to create a better-looking picture wherever possible. If that means returning when the weather is better or when the light is more suitable, then so be it. I also try to use a technique called HDR photography. To create an HDR photograph takes a lot more time but the results can be stunning when used with a graphic or website project. You might think that the image above has been ‘Photoshopped’ but in fact it hasn’t. It just requires a combination of good equipment, patience, knowledge, timing and enthusiasm.
